What to Expect

At Soma Church you’ll first experience a team of people who genuinely care about you. They’re dedicated to serving you so please ask if you need something. Next, you’ll enter our service where you’ll hear biblical, contemporary worship music followed by a practical and relevant message from our pastor.

check in

Your child is important to us. On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child. This information is entered into our database to help maintain our secure check-in system.

safe & Secure

Your child’s safety is our first priority. All Soma Kids volunteers pass a background check, and we employ an off-duty police officer as well as our own security team to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and a paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship experience.

FALL SEMESTER Sept. 8 - Dec 7

Join a GroupLead a Group

Why should I join a Connect Group?

We believe in the power of Connect Groups to impact your life, the lives of those around you, and even our community as a whole. We believe you can only go so far on your own— God designed us to be connected to each other so that we can continue to grow in every facet of our lives.

What types of groups are there?

We have two main types of groups. We have curriculum based Connect Groups and interest-based groups.

When can I join a group?

The Connect Groups Finder is open for a few weeks before each new semester starts and for a few weeks after the semester begins to allow everyone a chance to join a group. The Connect Group Finder is closed during the duration of each semester to allow groups to become established and build relationship with a consistent group of people.

Is childcare provided?

Childcare is provided based upon each individual group. When looking through the Connect Group Finder, you can filter through this option.

How do I lead my own Connect Group?

It's easy! Check out our 30 minute online training at YouTube to get started.
